How to install
Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera
- Unzip the download into a folder you'll keep (for example
Documents\RoRetro). Don't delete it later: the browser runs the extension from that folder. - Open the extensions page: type
chrome://extensionsin the address bar (Brave:brave://extensions, Edge:edge://extensions). - Turn on Developer mode (top right; on Edge it's on the left).
- Click Load unpacked and pick the folder you unzipped into (the one with
manifest.jsonin it). - Pin RoRetro from the puzzle-piece menu, then open roblox.com.
Firefox
- Type
about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefoxin the address bar. - Click Load Temporary Add-on… and pick the downloaded zip (no need to unzip).
- Firefox removes test add-ons when it closes, so repeat this after each restart. Your playtime is kept.
Updating to a new build
- Download the new build and unzip it over the old folder, replacing every file.
- On the extensions page, switch RoRetro off and on again. The reload arrow alone sometimes keeps old code running.
- Open the RoRetro popup and check the version number matches the one above.
